Fishing Experience and Meal

Service Description

Fishing is a great pastime but it was a way of life for so many Gullah people. Meet at the farm and join us for a few hours fishing in some of our favorite places in the area. The local creeks and landings, piers, and shorelines are ready to welcome you so you can cast a net or a line in the water. We'll supply the tackle and bait but you're welcome to bring your own. A SC saltwater fishing license is required for this outing, temporary licenses are available. A license can be purchased online at the SC Department of Natural Resources website, or at the local Walmart or Grayco. To order a license online go to https://www.gooutdoorssouthcarolina.com/ The price for the fishing experience is $60 per teen or adult and $25 for children 12 and under. The fishing experience followed by a Lowcountry fish meal is $90/person. After fishing, bring your catch back to the farm to clean and cook the fish. We have an outdoor cooking and dining space where we will prepare and serve the fish, crabs or shrimp caught. We will also have some fresh local fish available if needed to round out the amount of fish for the meal.
