COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY VISITS
Our farm is capable of offering various programs and experiences related to Gullah history and food ways for colleges and universities. We present sessions about the history of the Gullah people on this island, the traditions and culture.
We’re dedicated to providing a traditional farm experience to everyone in the our area. Our crops, homemade food, fun events and educational activities are designed to bring visitors closer to nature and Gullah history and culture while providing a memorable experience. We pride ourselves on our regenerative farming methods so we can protect the environment while providing the community with only the freshest food. Groups can learn about our growing practices that incorporates those methods taught by Dr. George Washington Carver to include building and maintaining soil health, the use of legumes and animal husbandry.

In addition to growing, we are local history and culture enthusiasts providing classes and tours about our own Gullah Geechee heritage. Our tours, classes and experiences cover a range of specialties geared toward different types of travelers.
