Parents, help your child (children) pack their imagination and get ready for a summer adventure through the mailbox!
Morning Glory Homestead Farm and our Farm School is launching a special Summer Postcard & Letter Adventure where students will travel the South Carolina Lowcountry one postcard at a time. Every two weeks, you’ll receive a postcard from Farmer Belinda Jones featuring a unique place, local history, wildlife, culture, or community story.
Then it’s your turn! Write back if you can with a postcard, letter, drawing, or note sharing your summer adventures, favorite books, pets, gardening projects, wildlife discoveries, library visits, and more.
Together we’ll explore new places, practice writing skills, learn about Gullah Geechee culture, and make meaningful connections through old-fashioned mail.
Your first postcard from the farm will be mailed June 12, 2026. We can’t wait to hear from you!
