About the event
This event will celebrate Black History Month with a oyster roast under live oak trees around our campfires. Featured will be well known Negro spiritual songs and folk tales from the Gullah culture.
The meal will feature locally sourced oysters, as well as vegetables grown, and free ranged chickens raised on the farm. We are also serving a seasoned rice prepared in the Gullah food tradition, fresh baked bread and a delicious dessert. Cold and Hot Beverages will be served.
Vegan dishes will be available.
