About the event
This event will celebrate Black History Month with a oyster roast under live oak trees  around our campfires.  Featured will be well known Negro spiritual songs and folk tales from the Gullah culture. Â
The meal will feature locally sourced oysters, as well as vegetables grown, and free ranged chickens raised on the farm. Â We are also serving a seasoned rice prepared in the Gullah food tradition, fresh baked bread and a delicious dessert. Â Cold and Hot Beverages will be served.
Vegan dishes will be available.
