Something exciting has wriggled its way onto the shelves at Morning Glory Homestead Farm! We received copies of three wonderful children’s books by Jillian Hishaw featuring the adventures of Wally the Worm — a curious little earthworm who lives beneath the soil on a farm.

Something exciting has wriggled its way onto the shelves at Morning Glory Homestead Farm!
Many thanks to Jillian Hishaw, Esq. for donating copies of her wonderful Wally the Worm books so we can make them available to young readers in our area.
The Wally the Worm series takes children on fun farm adventures while teaching about earthworms, healthy soil, composting, agriculture, and nature. Designed for ages 4–8, the interactive books also include STEM learning activities, phonics, spelling, writing, math, videos, and hands-on activities.
Join us this summer for Worm Activity Days on the farm! Families can visit our worm farm, explore composting areas, learn how worms help the soil, and receive a FREE copy of a Wally the Worm book while supplies last. One book per family.
Parents, grandparents, homeschool families, daycare groups, and young nature lovers are all welcome to come learn and explore together!
